FIU’s football program released its game times and network television information for the 2026 season on May 27, in coordination with Conference USA’s league-wide announcement.

The Panthers, entering their second season under Head Coach Willie Simmons after their first bowl appearance since 2019, will play eight of twelve games in Florida. The first five games are scheduled within the state, including three home matchups at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium and two road games against USF and Florida Atlantic.

A notable feature of the schedule is a four-game stretch in October where FIU will appear on national television: one game each on ESPN2 and ESPNU, followed by two contests on CBS Sports Network. The season begins at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa against USF on September 5 at 7 p.m., airing on ESPN+. The home opener follows against Buffalo on September 12 at 6 p.m., also broadcast by ESPN+.

Other highlights include the annual Shula Bowl versus Florida Atlantic on September 19, a home contest with LIU to close out September, weekday national broadcasts throughout October, and a series of November games that remain subject to changes based on the league’s selection process for television placement. The regular season concludes with a home game against Sam Houston on November 28.

The Conference USA Football Championship Game is set for December 4 and will be aired nationally by CBS Sports Network. Season ticket information is available through the FIU Athletics Online Ticket Office or by phone.
