On Friday, April 25, former Miami Southridge Senior High School standout Johnny Vazquez’s current college team, the Barry Buccaneers, won 8-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Florida Tech Panthers.
The game took place at Feinbloom Field. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.
The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Feinbloom Field against Florida Tech Panthers.
Five Miami Hurricanes baseball players have been honored by the Atlantic Coast Conference for their performances this season. Four players made the All-ACC Second Team while freshman Alonzo Alvarez earned All-Freshman honors. The team prepares to compete next in the ACC Baseball Championship.
