Miami Hurricanes to open indoor track season at Jimmy Carnes Invitational

The University of Miami will start its 2026 indoor track and field season at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, which takes place Friday at the Alachua County Sports Complex in Gainesville, Florida.

Field events begin at 9:30 a.m. with the men’s high jump. Track events are scheduled to start at 11 a.m., beginning with the women’s 1000-meter race.

Live results for the event will be available through Half-Mile Timing online.

Miami brings back most of its top performers from last year, including eight out of ten athletes who competed in the NCAA Championships and nineteen who qualified for the NCAA East Prelims.
