Due to expected winter weather, the schedule for the ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Sheffield Indoor Tennis Center in Durham, North Carolina has been changed. Miami was originally scheduled to play against host Duke, ranked No. 8, while Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and South Carolina were also part of the bracket. However, FAU has withdrawn from the event, which allows Duke to move directly into the championship match.

Miami will now face South Carolina on Friday, January 23 at 1 p.m. The winner of this match will compete against Duke in the championship on Saturday, January 24 at 11 a.m.

The team that wins the championship will earn a place in the ITA Indoor National Championships, which are scheduled for February 6-9 in Evanston and Champaign, Illinois.
