Miami track and field finishes competition at East Coast Relays

The University of Miami track and field team concluded its participation at the East Coast Relays on May 2, following events held at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida.

The meet experienced a three-hour rain delay before resuming. Desmond Coleman secured first place in the men’s discus event with a throw measuring 55.24 meters. In other results, Adriana Kruzmane finished second in the women’s triple jump after reaching a mark of 12.80 meters, while Magdaline Campo tied for third place in the women’s high jump by clearing 1.73 meters.

These performances highlight individual successes for Miami athletes as they prepare for upcoming competitions.

The next event for the Hurricanes will be the ACC Outdoor Championships scheduled from May 14 to May 16 in Louisville, Kentucky.

The team will look to build on these results as it moves forward into championship season.
