On Saturday, April 12, former Miami Palmetto Senior High School standout Lauren Margolis’ current college team, the Nova Southeastern Sharks, won 11-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Leo Lions.
The game took place at Mary Cannon Cabot Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.
The Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at NSU Softball Stadium against Embry-Riddle FL Eagles.
Five Miami Hurricanes baseball players have been honored by the Atlantic Coast Conference for their performances this season. Four players made the All-ACC Second Team while freshman Alonzo Alvarez earned All-Freshman honors. The team prepares to compete next in the ACC Baseball Championship.
