Former Florida Christian School standout Edwin Alicea helped lead the South Florida Bulls to a 6-1 victory against the Southern Jaguars in an NCAA Division I baseball matchup on Friday, March 6, at 5 p.m.

The teams played at USF Baseball Stadium, marking their initial meeting this season.

Alicea allowed one earned run and struck out 12 over 5.2 innings, issuing one walk.

South Florida is set to return to USF Baseball Stadium to face the Southern Jaguars again on Saturday, March 7, at 1 p.m.
