Census Bureau: More women than men in Palmetto Bay in 2019

Of the 24,333 people living in Palmetto Bay in 2019, 50.3 percent (12,238) were women and 49.7 percent (12,095) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Miami-Dade News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 7,281-to-7,251. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,927 females and 1,679 males.
