Of the 17,065 people living in Glenvar Heights in 2019, 54.1 percent (9,238) were women and 45.9 percent (7,827) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the South Miami-Dade News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 5,718-to-5,655. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,013 females and 983 males.
