School2

Kendall United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.

Our mission focus during the month of August is the annual TEACHERS' SUPPLY DRIVE. List of Supplies: Crayons (24 pack), No.2 Pencils, Large pink erasers & cap erasers, Zippered pencil pouches, Color pencils, Poly/plastic folders (3 prongs/2 pockets), Washable markers, Highlighters, Copy/Printer paper, Pens, Plastic protractors, Plastic rulers, Scissors (kid’s blunt end), Washable white glue, Glue sticks, Wide ruled filler (notebook) paper, Composition books (wide ruled) & Dry erase markers (large). The last day to give is AUGUST 31st.

The United Methodist Women of KUMC are collecting school supplies for the teachers of Florida City Elementary. Each year we provide the teachers with supplies for their classrooms. This directly benefits the elementary age children from Branches and assures that all students at Florida City Elementary are provided with school supplies. You can drop off the supplies each Sunday at the church's foyer or can drop them off at our office.

If you would like to support this project by donating funds, you can do so by making your check payable to KUMC or giving online with Teacher Supply Project as the notation. Giving a little extra, just a small gesture, can really make a difference and be a huge blessing to each of these teachers and their students. They are so grateful for any and all that we provide for them each year!  Thank you in advance for your generosity. For questions, please send us a DM or contact us at info@kendallchurch.org.
