Rev. Adam Hamilton, Church of the Resurrection’s senior pastor, speaks candidly about how his congregation has navigated COVID-19, disagreements within the UMC church, and divisions in the wider society. The Church of the Resurrection is the best-attended United Methodist congregation in the U.S. It’s also a big-tent church where members have varied perspectives.
Rev. Hamilton is a prolific writer and General Conference delegate from the Great Plains Conference. For years, Hamilton has been outspoken in his books, on the General Conference floor and from the pulpit about his belief that the church needs to be more inclusive.
