April: Home prices in Homestead increased

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Homestead rose by $277,500 while total sales decreased by 98.8 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $475,000 - a 140.5 percent increase over the $197,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 242 homes sold in Homestead in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Homestead for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,486, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for April.
