The same day, she reiterated this announcement in Spanish for her constituents: " Mis oficinas en Washington y Miami estarán cerradas este lunes, 17 de febrero de 2025, en conmemoración del Día de los Presidentes. Volveremos a abrir al público el martes 18 de febrero durante el horario habitual. ¡Gracias!"
On February 18, Rep. Salazar commented on former President Trump's foreign policy approach: "Trump’s foreign policy is off to a great start! He understands that America First means a robust realignment of Latin America policy."
