On March 4, Salazar tweeted about a significant meeting with First Lady Melania Trump: "Fue un gran honor tener una mesa redonda con la Primera Dama Melania Trump hoy, donde hablamos sobre la importancia de la ley TAKE IT DOWN." She expressed gratitude for Trump's support and emphasized the urgency of passing the legislation through Congress.
Later that day, Salazar announced an opportunity for high school students from Florida's 27th district to participate in the Congressional Art Competition. In her tweet she stated: "Congressional Art Competition! Did you know, there are ‘secret’ tunnels connecting the Capitol underground, and the main one is decorated by students art " She encouraged local students to join this tradition.
