Rep. María Elvira Salazar, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 27th district, has expressed her views on international relations and border security through a series of tweets dated March 6, 2025.
In one tweet, Salazar highlighted the importance of Paraguay as an ally in the hemisphere.
In another post from the same day, she discussed Mexico's role in border security and praised former President Trump for his diplomatic efforts with Mexico. She wrote: "Mexico can—and should—be a key partner in securing our border and protecting our communities from drugs and human traffickers. I applaud President Trump for achieving what the previous admin couldn't: bringing Mexico to the table and ensuring they step up to do their part."
