On March 20, 2025, Rep. Salazar expressed gratitude to SpaceX for safely returning Crew-9 astronauts to Earth. She remarked on Florida's significant role in the space industry and said she is "very proud" of the state's contributions to future space travel. "¡Bienvenidos a casa, Crew-9! Later that day, Salazar reminded students about the Congressional Art Competition deadline. She noted a worrying trend where nearly half of youths view "the Communist Manifesto as a better defense of freedom than the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE."
