Village Of Palmetto Bay issued the following announcement on Oct. 18.
Earlier this morning, Mayor Cunningham, along with the members of the Village's Education Advisory Board, Vice Mayor Tellam who is also Council Liaison to the Board, Member Emeritus Greg Zawyer, School Board Member Luisa Santos and, of course, all Principals from the Palmetto Bay schools convened for the Annual Principals' Breakfast, albeit virtually.
Issues of importance to the schools and the Village were discussed and Mr. Greg Zawyer himself announced the 2021 Greg Zawyer Principal of the Year Award which goes to Mrs. Deanne Dalby, Principal of Howard Drive Elementary School. Principal Dalby will be publicly recognized during the Regular Council meeting scheduled for November 1st. Congratulations Mrs. Dalby!
