City Of Homestead issued the following announcement on Apr. 11.
Delicious food, live music, and good company – that’s what you’ll find at the new Eats and Beats Food Truck Party coming on the first Saturday of every month beginning Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Old City Hall Parking Lot located at 790 N. Homestead Blvd, Homestead, FL 33030. The new monthly event series is brought to you by the City of Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency (HCRA) in partnership with Miami Food Trucks Events. The event will feature a rotating variety of food trucks ranging from classic comfort foods to gourmet creations. The night will also feature a set by DJ Spinz from 5pm to 8pm and a live performance from Arnitris Williams from 8pm to 10pm. This free event will offer attendees the opportunity to try local cuisines while enjoying a night out with family and friends.

The mission of the Homestead Community Redevelopment Agency is to revitalize the community redevelopment area and to provide economic stimulus such that the future value of the property within the community redevelopment area is optimized. Its goal is to combat neighborhood deterioration and eliminate economic blight in the designated area.
