City Of Homestead recently issued the following announcement.
As the 4th of July weekend kicks off we want to remind you of some important fireworks safety tips to keep you, your loved ones, and neighbors safe.
-Never allow children to play with or ignite fireworks
-Never try to re-light or pick up fireworks that have not ignited fully
-Keep a bucket of water or hose handy in case of fire or other mishap
-Purchase only legal fireworks, read directions before use
-Light fireworks one at a time and then move back quickly
Remember to have fun, responsibly!
