WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Carlos A. Giménez (FL-28), a Member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), has expressed his concerns regarding the latest strikes in the Middle East. In a statement, Rep. Giménez criticized President Biden's foreign policy and emphasized the need for stronger action against Iran and its terrorist proxies.

According to Rep. Giménez, Biden's failure to isolate Iran, annihilate Hamas, and support strategic partners in the Middle East has emboldened the enemies of freedom to target, attack, and murder US troops. He believes that President Biden's weakness is evident and that his misguided foreign policy has invited these attacks against the United States.

Rep. Giménez specifically mentioned the lifting of President Trump's sanctions on Iran, which he deemed to be among the most effective in history. He called for the immediate reimposition of oil sanctions on the Iranian regime and criticized President Biden for not taking action sooner to adequately deter further attacks from Iran and its terrorist proxies.

As the only Cuban-born Member of the 118th Congress, he fled his homeland shortly after the Communist takeover of the island. Rep.
