On March 31, 2025, Salazar expressed her views on social media, stating, "Maduro is proof of what communists do: kill and pillage. For those who have fled, going back is not an option. America granted Venezuelans protection, and as a beacon of hope for the freedom fighters, let’s give them the chance to seek safety in the promised land!" The Congresswoman highlighted the severity of the situation in Venezuela and emphasized the importance of the protection provided to Venezuelans by the United States.
Continuing her commentary on the same day, Salazar reiterated her point in Spanish, stating, "Maduro es la prueba de lo que los comunistas hacen: matar y saquear. Para quienes han huido, regresar no es una opción. EE.UU. otorgó protección a los venezolanos. ¡Merecen seguridad en la tierra prometida!" This repetition in both languages underlines the gravity of her message and her commitment to the issue.
On April 1, 2025, Salazar commended Argentina's recent political shifts, attributing them to the efforts of an Argentine politician. She stated, "Thanks to @JMilei, Argentina is finally recovering from its history of FAILED socialist policies. That’s why I’m asking the IMF to make a deal that will continue to move Argentina in the right direction." Here, Salazar calls for the International Monetary Fund to support Argentina's economic developments.
