On March 5, 2025, Rep. Salazar thanked President Biden for his support of her bill. She stated, "Thank you, Mr. President, for fully endorsing my bill, the TAKE IT DOWN Act (HR 633). Let’s get it done!" The endorsement marks a significant step forward for the proposed legislation.
Later that day, she reiterated her appreciation in Spanish, acknowledging the president's backing once more: "Gracias, señor Presidente, por respaldar plenamente mi proyecto de ley TAKE IT DOWN Act (HR 633). ¡Vamos a convertirlo en Ley!"
Additionally, Rep. Salazar engaged with young constituents during a visit to Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Coconut Grove on March 5. She expressed her enjoyment in meeting students and encouraged educational visits to Washington D.C., stating: "I had a fantastic time meeting students from Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Coconut Grove! I love meeting our future leaders. If your school is in FL-27 and you'd like to learn about government, come visit me! Our doors in DC are open."
