On Saturday, March 22, former Palmer Trinity School standout Emily Montes’ current collegiate team the Columbia Lions lost 78-59 against the West Virginia Mountaineers in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Carmichael Arena, this was the first game against the West Virginia Mountaineers during the championship.

Emily Montes’ hometown is Miami and game position is guard.
