VILLAGE OF PALMETTO BAY: Fighting Childhood Cancer

Village Of Palmetto Bay issued the following announcement on Oct. 26.

FIGHTING CHILDHOOD CANCER: There's still time to register for Sofia's Hope 14th Annual Reason To Run 5k on Saturday, October 30th at 8 a.m. at Deering Estate. https://www.sofiashope.org/reason-to-run

ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO EVENT:

Old Cutler Road: Barricades will be placed at the south side of the intersection at Old Cutler Road and S.W. 148th Street and the north side of Old Cutler Road and S.W. 169th Street at 7:50 a.m., closing the section of Old Cutler Road in between until approximately 8:25 a.m., when the last participant should have cleared Old Cutler.

Southbound traffic will be rerouted along S.W. 148th Street (west) to S.W. 74th Avenue (south) to S.W. 152nd Street (west) S.W. 82nd Avenue (south) to S.W. 168th Street (east) to S.W. 74th Court (south) to S.W. 168th Terrace/Street (east) back to Old Cutler. The reverse route will be used for northbound travelers.

S.W. 152nd Street east of Old Cutler Road: Barricades will be placed on the east side of the intersection of S.W. 152nd Street at S.W. 69th Court at 7:50 a.m. and traffic will be routed north on S.W. 67th Avenue to S.W. 144th Street.
