CITY OF EVERGLADES: The same friendly smiles welcome you

Groceries 1000x667

City Of Everglades issued the following announcement on Feb 09.

From the Salvation Army of Naples:

Greetings of the day!!!

http://www.salvationarmynaples.org

The same friendly smiles welcome you, but our daily operations have changed. The Salvation Army Naples Social Services Ministry Food Pantry is reopening on Wednesday, February 9, after experiencing many setbacks that date back to the pandemic's start to the building renovation. Nine months later than expected, the office has relocated its food pantry to our main campus.

Starting today, we invite the community to visit our food pantry located at 3180 Estey Avenue, Naples, FL 34104. Food pantry hours are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am-noon and 1 pm – 3 pm.

COVID-related delays in shipping, permitting and other parts of the construction process pushed back the schedule. The old office at 3050 Horseshoe Drive was a navigational challenge that was not conducive to drive-thru distributions.

You will need a picture ID of a household member for proof of residency. One grocery order will be provided per household per month.

We thank Publix, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Midwest Food Bank, Collier County Public Schools, United Way of Collier and the Keys, the Community Foundation of Collier County, Naples Daily News, Richard M. Schultz Family Foundation, First Presbyterian Church and our friends and neighbors who gave generously to help restock the food pantry.

Please call (239) 210-4009 to donate food, hygiene or household goods.
