City Of South Miami issued the following announcement on Jun 04.
DON'T FEED THE BIRDS! They may be beautiful, but #SoMi wild peacocks are ruffling feathers. From property damage to unsanitary conditions. Don't make it worse by feeding them! It is a violation to feed wild (feral) peacocks ANYWHERE in #SoMi.
You could be fined if caught.
