City Of Homestead issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
The Hurricane Andrew 30th Anniversary event was a huge success! Attendees came out to the Cybrarium to enjoy presentations from the National Weather Service, FIU Extreme Events Insitute, MDC Emergency Management, and a panel hosted by the Town Hall Museum.
It was also the premiere of the Hurricane Andrew Virtual Reality experience. If you missed it, the exhibit is available for viewing at the Cybrarium as part of the permanent collection.
