City Of Coral Gables issued the following announcement on Sep. 30.
Coral Gables firefighters, in conjunction with other Miami-Dade- and Broward-area fire departments, are in Lee County assisting our neighbors on the gulf coast who've been impacted by Hurricane Ian.
Chief Marcos De La Rosa serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Florida Fire Chiefs Association’s State Emergency Response Plan and is working with the state’s Emergency Operations Center to coordinate and get much-needed help to the area.
